Growing up animals have always been an important part of my life, having owned a range of pets including dogs, cats and two African Grey Parrots.

Through various trips to Veterinary Practices, I saw first- hand how members of the Veterinary team helped support me and my pets with specific health conditions. From this, I knew it was something I   wanted to be a part of and in the future be the one to make a difference to the owners and their pet’s life.

I started my career in the Veterinary profession as a Veterinary Care assistant (prior to this having had experience with working with farm animals) and then worked my way up to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse, qualifying in September 2021.

I started working at Glaven Veterinary Practice in April 2022, having undertaken work experience at the practice prior to this at the age of 17.

I enjoy all aspects of Veterinary Nursing, having a particular interest in emergency and critical care and I always strive to provide the highest level of veterinary care to patients.

The clients and pets best interest are always at the forefront of my mind ensuring their needs have been met and fully supported.

I find it particularly rewarding seeing I have made a difference when owners walk out the practice with a smile on their face knowing their pet is happy and in good health.

In my spare time, I have a passion for music and enjoy performing and playing the piano. I am also part of a running club, taking in the scenic coast and countryside on my runs.
