Laura Overton

I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2008. I then went on Maternity leave in 2016. I ended up taking a break from nursing to raise my family after having my Daughter in 2016 and then my Son in 2020. I returned to nursing here at Glaven Vets in February 2025. 

I enjoy all aspects of Veterinary Nursing and love to follow a pets life at the practice seeing them grow with each stage. I love treating Cats and Dogs but also have a passion for Exotic species (birds, reptiles and Small mammals) and have a City & Guilds Certificate in Nursing of Exotic species.  

In my spare time I love spending time with my family and friends and a trip to the beach is my ideal day. I have 2 cats at home called Sidney & Jasper.
